Aishwarya's Visit to Kochi

When Bollywood star and new mommy Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made a visit to Kochi, she transformed a lazy Sunday into a special one. News of her arrival spread like wild fire and fan frenzy began at the unusually overcrowded airport, with an unbelievable number of fans hanging around with phones and cameras on ready-to-shoot mode and waiting for hours together.
From passengers and staff to drivers and cleaners; the world seemed to have come to a standstill in their hope to catch a glimpse of the former Miss World. Even policemen were hoping to be able to get one picture of her.

However, it was not meant to be as Ash was travelling with her daughter
Aaradhya. So extra care was taken to ensure that the little one was safe from the public eye. The organisers even had to resort to fooling the crowd outside by stationing impressive looking cars at one side, while Ash made a safe getaway from elsewhere.

The actress finally made her public appearance for the event she had travelled for, looking fabulous in her white and
golden lehenga choli. "My last visit to Kerala was for the shoot of Iruvar. This is the second time I am visiting, though, it is Aaradhya's first," said Ash, who wrapped up the show and left just as quickly as she had arrived.

Rishi Kapoor as Villain

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, who won accolades for playing a villain in Karan Johar's remake of 'Agneepath', will be seen in a similar avatar for Yash Raj Films' 'Aurangzeb'.

In 'Agneepath', Rishi played the role of Rauf Lala, being dressed up in a kurta-pyjama, alongwith a karakul cap and kajal in eyes.

"Yes Rishi Kapoor will be playing the role of a villain in 'Auragzeb'," a Yash Raj Film spokesperson told PTI.

After the success of 'Ishaqzaade', actor Arjun Kapoor will also be seen in 'Aurangzeb'.

Directed by Atul Sabharwal, the film will portray Arjun in a double role and will also pair up Jackie Shroff and Amrita Singh again after almost two decades.

This film is rumoured to be a fresh take on the 1978 blockbuster film 'Trishul' and will release next year.

The Malayalam Movie-"Friday"

Friday, directed by Lijin Jose is a well-woven neatly scripted movie with minimal loopholes. The film appeals mainly because the characters are 'human' and easy to identify with. They are normal people like you and me who make blunders, learn from them and move on...
Najeem Koya's script beams with life and highlights issues and thoughts never before captured on camera. Stunning visuals by Jomon Thomas adds to the already appealing script. It takes us on a roller-coaster ride of emotions and feelings that rule everybody's hearts. Music by Roby Abraham foes well with the plot of the film.
The story of Friday revolves around many people aged young and old from diverse background, who come together due to a single incident that happens on a Friday in a small town in Alappuzha. One childless couple is planning to adopt a child, while a young autorickshaw-driver (Fahad Fazil) is angry that he is poor. There is also a young couple who are head over heels in love, a pregnant beggar and an aged man who shops for his granddaughter's wedding. What happens next? How do all these different people unite? Watch Friday to know!
Fahad Fazil seems to have carved himself a niche in doing experimental film in Malayalam cinema. He is flawless and handles his role with absolute ease and delicateness. Nedumudi Venu as usual is outstanding and extremely convincing in his role. It is difficult to single out any one actor as the entire star cast has given a brilliant performance.
